The College of Recreation & Health Management ( CR&HM) is established in 2009. It includes  the Department of Recreation and Healthcare Management, the Department of Tourism Management, the Department of Sports Management, the Department of Hospital and Healthcare Administration, and the Department of Senior Citizen Service Management.

Training health-related professionals is the main goal of the College of CR&HM. Recreation refers to activities outside of work , such as activities  related to entertainment, travel, tourism, and sports. Recreation can also facilitate people’s health and quality of life.. Well-managed recreational resources and established health management system essential to enhance the quality of life in our society. The major goal of the College of CR&HM is to provide trainings for professionals in the fields of recreation and health services.

The College of CR&HM is committed to promoting excellent teaching and research in the fields of recreation and health management. Students are required to acquire and practice technical skills and learn how to solve problems related to recreation science and health management. Furthermore,  learning a second language and the acquisition of high-level interpersonal skills are also required. Through our  programs, students will acquire the skills, knowledge, and competencies they will need for future employment. After graduation, students will be well-prepared and qualified  for employment opportunities in hospital, hotels, restaurants, clubs, healthcare centers, and travel agencies. Both recreation and health management are essential to our life.  In fact, they have become a necessity in modern society.  To develop a healthy society, more people need to improve their lifestyles and become healthier.  This college offers various academic and professional training programs for professionals in recreation and health management services. 

Recreation and health management are related to relaxation, satisfaction, the development of self-confidence and lifestyle.  Although it is quite a complicated concept, we have chosen to focus on health management fields.  This is mainly because our school has established its reputation on the basis of pharmacy-related technology.  The school as a whole has excelled in health-related fields for a long time, in terms of both faculty specializations and research results.  “Health” has become the distinguishing feature of this university.  Therefore, in keeping with this emphasis, we have focused our goals for development around the notion of healthy recreation and lifestyle.  The college offers a wide variety of training programs, such as therapeutic recreation, sport, tourism and  healthy lifestyle management.  By combining and integrating diverse fields of study, we offer bachelor’s degrees in healthcare and recreation management, tourism management, sports management, hospital and healthcare administration, and senior citizen service management.  We also offer master degrees in Departments of Recreation and Healthcare Management, and Hospital and  Healthcare Administration.

We have about 110 full-time faculty members with diverse specializations, such as healthcare management, tourism management, fitness, environmental planning, hospital administration, senior citizen services, etc.  In both teaching and research, we encourage our teachers to collaborate with industry in order to promote the profession.  Under our school motto of “reality and truth”, we hope to cultivate students with honest and diligent characters, and we are proud of the achievements of our graduates.
